Nagaland's COVID-19 active cases dip to 52

One more person tested COVID-19 positive in Nagaland on Thursday.

COVID-19 active caseload in Nagaland dipped to 52 as five more persons recovered from the infection on Thursday, state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.

Taking to Twitter, the health minister said that three persons from Mokokchung and two from Dimapur recovered from COVID-19 on Thursday, pushing the total recoveries to 11,801.

Nagaland also recorded one new COVID-19 positive case, taking the total tally to 12,084, the health minister said in a tweet.

"Update! One +ve  case of #COVID-19 has been detected today at Peren. Also 5 +ve patients have recovered. Mokokchung- 3, Dimapur- 2. Total +ve cases- 12084 Recovered- 11801 Active Cases- 52 Wear Mask, Keep Distance, Stay Safe," Phom tweeted.

A total of 78 COVID-19 patients have died in Nagaland, of which 10 deaths are not due to COVID-19, while 142 cases have migrated to other states, according to the state health department.
