Nagaland's COVID-19 active caseload drops to 181

On Monday, a total of 17,676 test results were received, of which only three samples were found positive for COVID-19.

Nagaland continued to witness a downtrend in daily COVID-19 cases and the active caseload dropped to 181 on Monday with the day's positivity rate at 0.95 per cent.

On Monday, a total of 17,676 test results were received, of which only three samples were found positive for COVID-19, as per the COVID-19 bulletin issued by the state health department.

The new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from Dimapur, while 13 more persons, including seven from Dimapur, four from Kohima, and one each from Peren and Zunheboto, recovered from the infection on Monday.

With the addition of the three new positive cases, Nagaland's COVID-19 confirmed caseload reached 31,938, including 30,021 recovered cases and 1,047 migrated cases.

The COVID-19 death toll in Nagaland stood at 673 with no new report of fatality in the state on Monday. Sixteen  patients with COVID-19 positivity have also died in the state, however, their deaths were not due to COVID-19, the state health department stated in its bulletin.
