Nagaland reports two more COVID-19 cases; total cases rise to 130

Of the total 130 COVID-19 cases reported in the state, 22 patients have recovered from the disease.

Two more fresh cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nagaland on Thursday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 130, official sources said.

Taking to Twitter, Nagaland state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said that both cases were from Kohima Quarantine Centre. The two new cases are among the 293 samples tested on Wednesday, he said.

"2 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 293 samples tested. Both cases are from Kohima Quarantine Centre," the minister tweeted. 

Of the total 130 COVID-19 cases reported in the state, 22 patients have recovered from the disease.

The number of active cases stood at 108, the health minister said.

Nagaland is yet to register COVID-19 death till date.
