Nagaland reports 23 more COVID-19 cases; total cases rise to 771

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland has risen to 771 with 23 more new cases being reported in the state, official sources said on Sunday.

Of the 23 new cases, 18 cases are from Dimapur, four in Phek and one in Kohima, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangyu Phom posted on Twitter.

"23 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 18 in Dimapur, 4 in Phek, 1 in Kohima," the health minister tweeted on Sunday morning.

With the detection of the new cases, the number of active cases in the state stands at 458, while 313 patients have recovered from COVID-19.

On Saturday, Nagaland reported 16 COVID-19 positive cases.
