Nagaland logs three new COVID-19 cases, 11 new recoveries

Of the two COVID-19 positive cases reported on Monday, two cases were from Mokokchung while one was from Tuensang.

Nagaland's COVID-19 tally reached 35,838 with the addition of three new positive cases on Monday. The day's positivity rate is 2.83 per cent, according to the state COVID-19 Bulletin.

On Monday. a total of 106 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Nagaland, of which thee returned positive for the viral infection. Nagaland has so far conducted 4,78,114 COVID-19 tests.

Of the two positive cases reported on Monday, two cases were from Mokokchung while one was from Tuensang, as per the bulletin.

Nagaland also reported 11 new COVID-19 recoveries, including two each from Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Mon, and one each from Phek and Tuensang. With these recoveries, the cumulative number of recovered cases climbed to 33,506, leaving the number of active cases at 54.

The death toll stood at 772 of which five deaths were not due to COVID-19 while 1,506 cases have migrated to other states, the bulletin mentioned.
