Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases rise to 622 as 32 more test positive

Of the total 622 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 391 are active cases while 231 patients have recovered from COVID-19 infection.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rose to 622 as 32 new cases have been confirmed, official sources said on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said the 32 new cases were among those 356 samples tested. Twenty new cases are reported from Mon while 12 cases are from Dimapur, he said.

"Out of 356 samples tested, 32 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 20 from Mon & 12 from Dimapur," the minister tweeted on Monday morning.

On Sunday, 15 more COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland, taking the state's total tally of confirmed cases to 578.
