The cumulative number of COVID-19 recovered cases in Mizoram on Sunday surged to 4,393 with five more recoveries, according to the state Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).
As per the updates posted by the DIPR on Twitter, the new recovered cases included four from Lawhngtlai and one from Champhai.
With the new recovered cases, the number of active cases stood at 20 and the state's recovery rate reached 99.32 per cent, it stated.
While the total caseload reached 4,423, the death toll stood at 10, the DIPR stated.
In Mizoram, no new COVID-19 positive cases were recorded in five districts, including Siaha, Kolasib, Serchhip, Khawzawl and hnahthial.
Among the active cases, Aizawl has the maximum cases with 11, followed by Lawngtlai with four and Lunglei with two cases. The other two active cases are in Mamit and Saitual districts, according to the DIPR.
