Mass prayers held as Covid-19 surges in Churachandpur

The mass prayer was divided into seven sessions led by different Evangelists and Reverends from different denominational churches.

Amid the constant rise in COVID-19 positive cases and deteriorating law and order situation, including extortion and drugs being seized, the All Tribal Christian Prayer Fellowship on Thursday organised a mass fasting prayer at Evangelical Baptist Convention’s Centenary Hall in Churachandpur HQ.

Till date, the district has witnessed 92 new position cases in with no death cases in the fourth wave.

The mass prayer was divided into seven sessions led by different Evangelists and Reverends from different denominational churches.

While praising God for his help so far, the mass prayer also sought forgiveness from God.

GS of Presbyterian Synod, Rev. JF Lalropuia led in the prayer to God for the help in time of Covid pandemic and shared his experiences on how he suffered physically and spiritually but survived due to God’s help during the pandemic.
