In an effort to check the risk of increasing transmission of COVID-19 virus, medical staffs of PHC Moreh have carried out a mass vaccination at Chavangphai Community Hall, Chavangphai, Moreh Ward No VIII under the initiative of Kuki Students' Organization (KSO) Moreh block on Wednesday.
Speaking at the programme Dr Sweety Thangeo urged the people not to trust unfounded and false information about the vaccine which is being spread in various social media platforms.
She also gave awareness on the presence of Delta Variant in the state and urged the public to take vaccines at the earliest so as to curb the spread of deadly virus.
“Most dangerous variant of the coronavirus ‘Delta Variant’ has been detected in the state. We should take the vaccine at the earliest before the situation goes out of control. Do not hesitate to take Vaccine, it is safe. Do not believe in rumours and false information” she said.
