Manipur's daily COVID-19 tally drops to 17
Manipur has 330 COVID-19 active cases as of Tuesday.

Manipur on Tuesday recorded 17 new COVID-19 positive cases, pushing the state's tally to 1,25,406 while the death toll remained at 1,985 with zero fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department. The positivity rate is 1.2 per cent.
According to a release issued by state COVID-19 Common Control Room, Imphal West and Imphal East continued to report the highest number of new COVID-19 cases with eight and five cases respectively and two cases each were reported from Bishnupur and Chadel.
The state also recorded 28 new recoveries, taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 1,23,091. The recovery rate is 98.15 per cent, the release added.
Manipur now has 330 COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.
Meanwhile, a total of 530 D-type oxygen cylinders and 260 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 22,01,399 (first dose: 12,92,766 second dose: 9,08,633). The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with first dose is 65.67 per cent and for second dose is 46.16 per cent, it mentioned.
