Manipur's COVID-19 vaccination coverage reaches 28,77,962

No new COVID-19 case or death was reported in Manipur on Thursday.

The total number of people who have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur has reached 28,77,962 (first dose: 15,65,746 second dose: 12,19,938 precautionary dose: 92,278), according to the latest update by the state health department.

According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.80 per cent and for the second dose is 51.83 per cent. 

Manipur on Thursday recorded zero new COVID-19 positive case or death. Hence, the state's COVID-19 tally stood at 1,37,230 and the death toll also remained at 2,120, the release stated.

The state also reported zero recovery, confining the number of recovered cases at 1,35,107. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has three COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.

Meanwhile, a total of 44 oxygen cylinders and zero B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
