Manipur's COVID-19 active cases rise to 10

According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 55 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Sunday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,14,397 COVID-19 tests.

Manipur on Sunday reported three new COVID-19 cases and zero death cases, pushing the state's total positive cases to 1,37,254 and confining the death toll at 2,120. All the three positive cases were reported from Noney district and the positivity rate rose to 5.5 per cent. 

According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 55 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Sunday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,14,397 COVID-19 tests.

Zero new COVID-19 recovery was recorded in the state on Sunday. The number of recovered cases remained at 1,35,124 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.

Manipur now has ten COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.

Meanwhile, a total of 85 oxygen cylinders and 28 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 24.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,51,833 (first dose: 15,90,065 second dose: 12,54,786 precautionary dose: 1,06,982).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.96 per cent and for the second dose is 53.04 per cent, it mentioned.
