Manipur's COVID-19 active caseload remains two

A total of 45 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Friday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,13,993 COVID-19 tests.

Manipur on Friday reported zero new COVID-19 cases and zero death cases, confining the state's total positive cases at 1,37,244 and death toll at 2,120, according to the latest update by the state health department.

A total of 45 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Friday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,13,993 COVID-19 tests.

Zero new COVID-19 recovery was recorded in the state on Friday. The number of recovered cases confined at 1,35,122 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. The state's active COVID-19 caseload remained two, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.

Meanwhile, a total of 116 oxygen cylinders and six B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 15.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,35,542 (first dose: 15,84,556 second dose: 12,47,644 precautionary dose: 1,03,342).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.94 per cent and for the second dose is 52.79 per cent, it mentioned.
