Manipur reports zero new COVID-19 positive cases for third straight day

The total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,45,267 (first dose: 15,56,915, second dose: 12,04,918 precautionary dose: 83,432) in Manipur.

Manipur continued to report zero new COVID-19 positive cases for the third consecutive day on Sunday. The state's COVID-19 confirmed tally remained at 1,37,220 and the death toll at 2,120 with zero new fatality since March 18, according to the latest update by the state health department.

According to a release issued by the State COVID-19 Common Control Room, the state also reported one new recovery, pushing the number of recovered cases to 1,35,086. The recovery rate is 98.44 per cent. Manipur now has 15 COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.

As on April 30, a total of 35 D type Oxygen Cylinders and 23 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,45,267 (first dose: 15,56,915, second dose: 12,04,918 precautionary dose: 83,432).

So far, the country has reported 4,30,79,188 total COVID-19 cases and death toll 5,23,843. A total of 4,25,36,253 have been discharged, while 83,79,13,110 test for COVID-19 have been conducted and the vaccine coverage has reached 1,89,17,69,346 as of Sunday. Delhi has the highest number of COVID-19 active cases at 5,716 currently.
