Manipur reports zero death, one new COVID-19 positive case

Manipur on Sunday recorded only one new COVID-19 positive cases, pushing the state's COVID-19 confirmed caseload to 1,37,041 and the death toll remained at 2,120 with zero new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department. The positivity rate is 0.3 per cent.

The state also recorded six new recoveries, taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 1,34,855. The recovery rate is 98.39 per cent. Manipur now has 36 COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.

Meanwhile, a total of 236 D-type Oxygen Cylinders and 111 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 27,66,765 (first dose: 15,27,374 second dose: 11,75,010 precautionary dose: 64,381).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.42 per cent and for the second dose is 50.19 per cent, it mentioned.
