Manipur has reported no new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state remained1,39,920 as of Sunday.
The COVID-19 Common Control Room stated in a release on Sunday that no new cases of COVID-19 have been detected, while no person has died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remained 2,149, it stated.
No person was discharged on Sunday, it further stated, adding the number of active COVID-19 cases is one.
So far, Imphal West district has reported the highest number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the state with 49,850 caseload. It also reported the highest death toll among all districts in the state at 712.
The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on Saturday was 56. The cumulative number of doses administered so far is 32,64,756. Of the total, the first dose is 16,48,554, second dose is 13,37,116 and precaution dose is 2,79,086.
If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, stated a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release stated.
