Manipur reports two more COVID-19 positive cases

Imphal West and Imphal East reported one COVID-19 positive case each.

Manipur on Sunday reported two new COVID-19 cases. With it, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state climbed to 1,39,867.

The COVID-19 Common Control Room stated in a release on Sunday that Imphal West and Imphal East reported one positive case each.

No death due to COVID-19 has been reported from any part of the state. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remained unchanged at 2,149.

Five persons were discharged on Sunday. The number of active COVID- 19 cases stood at 26. The recovery rate recorded 98.44 per cent.

The number of doses of COVID- 19 vaccine administered on October 22 was 760. The cumulative doses administered so far  reached 32,52,279. Of it, first dose count totaled 16,47,012, second dose 13,32,444 and precautionary dose is 2,72,823.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
