Manipur's COVID-19 confirmed caseload climbed to 1,37,250 with the report of three new positive cases from Imphal West district, while the death toll remained 2,120 with no new reports of COVID-19 fatality on Wednesday, official sources said.
According to the latest update by the state health department, while the daily positivity rate rose to 5.6 per cent, one new COVID-19 recovery was recorded in the state on Wednesday. The number of recovered cases stood at 1,35,124 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
Manipur now has six COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.
The release stated that a total of 54 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Wednesday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,14,226 COVID-19 tests.
Meanwhile, a total of 123 oxygen cylinders and one B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 21.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,44,058 (first dose: 15,87,207 second dose: 12,51,756 precautionary dose: 1,05,095).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.95 per cent and for the second dose is 52.93 per cent, it mentioned.
