Manipur reports seven new COVID-19 positive cases

The number of COVID-19 active cases in Manipur stood at 19, as per the latest updated data of the state health department.

Manipur's cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases now stands at 1,39,883 with the state witnessing seven more COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday.

Four females and three males tested positive for COVID-19, according to a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Saturday.

Of the total, four cases were reported from Imphal East, one from Imphal West and two from Ukhrul.

It stated that no deaths due to COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remained 2,149 as of Saturday.

No person was discharged on Saturday, and the recovery rate recorded 98.45 per cent.

The number of COVID-19 active cases stood at 19.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on October 28 was 489. The cumulative number of doses administered so far is 32,54,144. Of the total, the first dose totaled 16,47,264, second dose 13,33,221 and the precautionary dose coverage reached 2,73,659.
