Manipur reports four new COVID-19 positive cases, confirmed caseload reaches 1,37,070

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 27,73,924 (first dose: 15,31,572 second dose: 11,77,311 precautionary dose: 65,041).

Manipur on Friday recorded four new COVID-19 positive cases, pushing the state's tally to 1,37,070 the death toll remained at 2,120 with zero new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department. The positivity rate is 0.5 per cent.

According to a release issued by the State COVID-19 Common Control Room, three COVID-19 cases were reported from Imphal West and one case from Jiribam.

The state also recorded 52 new recoveries, taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 1,34,917. The recovery rate is 98.43 per cent. Manipur now has 33 COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.

Meanwhile, a total of 281 Oxygen Cylinders and 97 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 27,73,924 (first dose: 15,31,572 second dose: 11,77,311 precautionary dose: 65,041).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.46 per cent and for the second dose is 50.29 per cent, it mentioned.
