After a day of zero positive case, Manipur on Sunday reported four new COVID-19 cases, taking the confirmed caseload to 1,39,759, while the death toll remained unmoved at 2,148 with no new fatality, official sources said.
According to the latest updated data by the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Sunday, Chandel district reported two new COVID-19 cases, while Churachandpur and Imphal East districts reported one new case each. Following it, the positivity rate stood at 1.4 per cent on Sunday.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the sources said.
So far, the state has tested 16,51,702 total samples for COVID-19. As many as 278 test results were recieved on Sunday.
A total of 11 persons were discharged after completion of surveillance on Sunday. The recovery rate stood at 98.45 per cent. Consequently, the number of active cases dropped to 20.
As on September 10, a total of 53 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 19 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid 19 vaccine administered on September 10 was 343.The cumulative doses vaccinated so far is 3204518. Out of it, first dose is 1637126, second dose is 1313538 and precautionary dose is 253854.
