Manipur reports four more COVID-19 cases

The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths stood at 2,149, with no reports of new COVID-19 death, while two new recoveries were recorded in the state on Monday.

Manipur on Monday reported four new COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 1,39,846, and the number of active COVID-19 cases rose to 18, official sources said. 

According to the latest updated data issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Monday, two positive cases were from Imphal West, with Bishnupur and Kamjong reporting one each.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on October 16 was 293. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,47,204. Of it, the first dose totalled 16,45,910 second dose 13,30,291 and precautionary dose reached 2,71,003.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
