Manipur logs six new COVID-19 cases, active caseload surges to 28

No COVID-19 related death or recovery was reported in Manipur on Thursday.

Manipur on Thursday reported six new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the confirmed caseload to 1,39,861, official sources said.

According to the latest updated data on Thursday, three new COVID-19 cases were reported from Imphal West, two from Kangpokpi and one from Bishnupur.

The death toll remained unmoved at 2,149 as of Thursday.

No person was discharged on Thursday. Consequently, the number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 28.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on October 19 was 964. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,49,682. Of it, the first dose climbed to 16,46,337, second dose 13,31,355 and precautionary dose touched 2,71,90.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
