Manipur on Thursday recorded one new COVID-19 positive case, taking the cumulative number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 1,39,886, official sources said. The daily positivity rate is 0.8 per cent.
On Thursday, a total of 122 samples were tested for COVID-19, of which, one was found positive for the infection. The new COVID-19 positive case was reported from Kakching district. As many as 16,60,477 COVID-19 tests have so far been conducted in Manipur.
The COVID-19 Common Control Room stated in a release that no death due to COVID-19 has been reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remains at 2,149.
With one new recovery reported in the state on Thursday, the number of active COVID-19 cases dropped to 15. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The number of doses of COVID- 19 vaccine administered on November 2 was 460. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,55,921, including first dose - 16,47,542, 2nd dose - 13,34,013 and precautionary dose - 2,74,366.
If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
