Manipur on Tuesday reported four new COVID-19 cases from four different testing centres in the last 24 hours, official sources said.
The COVID-19 Common Control Room on Tuesday stated in a release that one male and three females tested positive for COVID-19.
The new positive cases include one each from Imphal West, Thoubal, Ukhrul and Kangpokpi. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it stated.
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported no cases of deaths caused by COVID-19. The cumulative number of deaths remained 2,148.
As many as two persons were discharged after completion of surveillance.
The cumulative number of positive cases stands at 1,39,768, recovered cases at 1.37,595 number of active cases at 25 and recovery rate at 98.45 per cent.
As on September 12, a total of 100 D-type Oxygen cylinders and four B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on September 12 is 2,188.The cumulative number of doses administered so far is 3207255. Of the total; the cumulative number of the first dose is 1637587, second dose is 1314590 and precautionary dose is 255078.
