“Our Prime Minister provides free vaccines to the people and as a local MLA, I provide my people free transportation for vaccination,” said Nemcha Kipgen.

Kipgen said that with the detection of the new Delta Variant in the state, it has become very important to get vaccinated to stay protected from the new variant.

With curfew enforced in the district and difficulties of transportation, many people could avoid the vaccination. So, to reach out to all willing individuals and get them vaccinated on time, the vaccination bus is launched, she added.

The MLA in a review meeting held before the launching of vaccination bus emphasised the importance of vaccination and exhorted Covid task forces to come with innovative ideas to convince the people and make them aware of the importance of vaccination in their respective areas.

She also said that with the launching of the vaccination bus, the task force could transport all willing individuals from their areas easily to the vaccination centres following SOPs.

She appealed to all the people of Kangpokpi assembly constituency to get vaccinated for a Covid-free Kangpokpi assembly constituency.
