India's daily COVID-19 positive tally drops to 80

With the latest report of 74 more recoveries, India's COVID-19 active caseload stood at 1,848 early Monday.

As the pandemic situation continued to ease across the country, India's daily COVID-19 positive caseload dropped to 80, according to official sources on Monday.

According to the latest updated data issued by the Union Health Ministry, 91.53 crore total tests for COVID-19 have been conducted so far, and the country's COVID-19 active caseload stood at 1,848, with a 0.01 per cent active rate.

The recovery rate stood at 98.81 per cent with 74 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries reached 4,41,50,131 early Monday.

The daily positivity rate and weekly positivity rate stood at 0.11 per cent and 0.08 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, 220.45 crore total vaccine doses (95.18 cr Second Dose and 22.70 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. A total of 5,28,257 doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
