India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeds 190.67 crore
India logged 2,897 new COVID-19 cases and 54 deaths in the last 24 hours.

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 190.67 crore as per provisional reports till 7 am Wednesday. As many as 1,90,67,50,631 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered across the country, according to the latest data by the Union Health Ministry.
As per the Ministry data, India logged 2,897 new COVID-19 cases and 54 deaths in the last 24 hours. The country's cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached 4,31,10586 while the death toll rose to 5,25,157.
India also recorded 2,986 new COVID-19 recoveries, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,25,66,935. The country's recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent as of Wednesday.
Consequently, India's COVID-19 active caseload stood at 19,494, constituting 0.05 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the Health Ministry stated.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 4,72,190 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 84.19 crore (84,19,86,891) cumulative tests, the ministry added.
