India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeds 185.70 crore
As many as 2,21,97,507 adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, the Union Health Ministry stated on Sunday.

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has reached 1,85,70,71,655, So far, a total of 2,21,97,507 adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, the Union Health Ministry stated on Sunday.
The country added 1,054 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. With these new positive cases, India's COVID-19 tally climbed to 4,30,35,271 while the death toll mounted to 5,21,685 with 29 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
India’s recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent with the recovery of 1,258 more patients. The cumulative tally of recovered patients is 4,25,02,454 while the number of COVID-19 active cases is 11,132, as of Sunday. Active cases constitute 0.03 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the Health Ministry stated.
India has so far conducted 79,38,47,740 cumulative COVID-19 tests.
