India reports 39 more COVID-19 deaths

Delhi, today, has the highest number of COVID-19 active cases at 4832, followed by Kerala with 2,737 active cases.

India on Friday reported 39 more COVID-19 deaths and 3,377 new positive cases in the last 24 hours, according to the latest update by the Union Health Ministry.

The new cases pushed the country's total COVID-19 confirmed caseload to 4,30,68,799, while the death toll mounted to 5,23,693. Total active caseload climbed to 17,801 and the active cases stood at 0.04 per cent.

Delhi, today, has the highest number of COVID-19 active cases at 4832, followed by Kerala with 2,737 active cases and Haryana with 2021 active cases. 

The country reported 2,496 more recoveries and the total recoveries reached 4,25,30,622. The recovery rate currently at 98.74 per cent.

Meanwhile, 83.69 crore total tests have been conducted so far, with 4,73,635 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, and 188.65 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
