India COVID-19 Update: 3,205 new cases, 31 deaths reported in 24 hours
India's COVID-19 active caseload stands at 19,509, constituting 0.5 per cent of the country's total positive cases.

India on Wednesday reported 3,205 new COVID-19 cases and 31 deaths. The country's COVID-19 tally surged to 4,30,88,118 while the death toll mounted to 5,23,920, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The country also recorded 2,802 recoveries in 24 hours. The cumulative tally of recovered patients is 4,25,44,689 and India’s COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent, the Union Health Ministry stated.
Consequently, India's COVID-19 active caseload stands at 19,509, constituting 0.5 per cent of the country's total positive cases.
Meanwhile, as many as 1,89,48,01,203 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in India. A total of 2,95,09,889 adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, the Health Ministry informed.
