India COVID-19 Update: 2,841 new cases, 13 deaths in 24 hours
India has so far conducted over 84.38 crore (84,38,36,914) cumulative COVID-19 tests.

As many as 2,841 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths were reported in India on Sunday. With these additions, India's COVID-19 tally surged to 4,31,21,599 while the death toll mounted to 5,24,214, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The daily positivity rate is 0.61 per cent while the weekly positivity rate is 0.62 per cent, the Health Ministry stated.
India has so far conducted over 84.38 crore (84,38,36,914) cumulative COVID-19 tests, including 4,05,156 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the latest update by the ministry.
The cumulative tally of recovered patients is 4,25,79,693 as 2,878 more patients recovered from the infection, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent,
Consequently, the number of active COVID-19 cases stood at 17,692, constituting 0.04 per cent of the country's total positive cases.
India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has also exceeded 191.32 crore (1,91,32,94,864) as per provisional reports till 7 am Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.
