Imphal West reports one COVID-19 positive case

Manipur now has 11 COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.

Manipur on Sunday reported one new COVID-19 case and zero death cases, pushing the state's total positive cases to 1,37,255 and confining the death toll at 2,120. The single positive case was reported from Imphal West and the positivity rate is 2.5 per cent. 

According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 40 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Sunday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,14,437 COVID-19 tests.

Zero new COVID-19 recovery was recorded in the state on Sunday. The number of recovered cases remained at 1,35,124 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has 11 COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.

Meanwhile, a total of 84 oxygen cylinders and 12 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 25.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,53,149 (first dose: 15,90,221 second dose: 12,55,340 precautionary dose: 1,07,588).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.96 per cent and for the second dose is 53.06 per cent, it mentioned.
