Manipur on Thursday reported four new COVID-19 cases and zero death cases, pushing the state's total positive cases to 1,37,270 and confining the death toll at 2,120. Of the four positive cases, three were reported from Imphal West and one from Kangpokpi. The positivity rate is 5.2 per cent.
According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 77 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Thursday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,14,689 COVID-19 tests.
Two new COVID-19 recoveries were also recorded in the state on Thursday. The number of recovered cases increased at 1,35,130 and the recovery rate is 98.44 per cent. Manipur now has 20 COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, a total of 103 oxygen cylinders and seven B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 29.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,61,228 (first dose: 15,92,474 second dose: 12,57,992 precautionary dose: 1,10,762).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.97 per cent and for the second dose is 53.16 per cent, it mentioned.
