After a day of zero COVID-19 positive cases, four new cases were detected and two more persons reported recovered in Manipur on Thursday, taking the number of active cases to 26, official sources said.
The four new COVID-19 positive cases pushed the state's confirmed caseload to 1,39,800, while the death toll remained 2,148 with no reports of any deaths in the state, according to a release from the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Thursday.
A total of 316 sample test results were received on Thursday. One positive case each was detected in Churachandpur, Imphal West, Kakching and Tengnoupal districts, taking the positivity rate to 1.3 per cent as on Thursday.
A cumlative number of 16,54,678 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the state so far.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the release stated.
The cumulative number of recovered cases stood at 1,37,626. The recovery rate recorded is 98.44 per cent.
As on September 21, a total of 408 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 56 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
A total of 973 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on September 21. The cumulative doses administered so far is 32,24,304. Of it, first dose reached 16,41,321, second dose 13,21,399 and precautionary dose 2,61,584.
