Amid the recent increase in new COVID-19 positive cases in Imphal West and as a measure to prevent the spread of the disease, DC Imphal West district, Naorem Praveen declared two areas in the district as containment zones on Tuesday.
The two containment zones are a rented building in Thangal Bazaar and room number 113 of Bheigo Hotel, stated the orders issued by the deputy commissioner, Imphal West.
The boundaries of the containment zone of the rented building in Thangal Bazaar are the boundary wall in the north, boundary wall in the south, space or khas land in the east, and the Thangal Bazaar road (way to Ima Keithel), it stated.
The boundaries of the containment zone at Bheigo Hotel are room number 114 of the hotel in the north, room number 112 in the south, room number 110 in the east, and the boundary wall of the hotel in the west, it mentioned.
The order also stated that the plots or land mentioned are indications of the boundaries and in no case included within the containment zones.
