The COVID-19 immunisation drive to vaccinate people in 18-45 age group began in the national capital Delhi Monday morning. This is the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive in the city.
Prior registration is mandatory for vaccination in the 18-45 age category. The government has set up COVID-19 vaccination stalls in 77 schools in the city. Each school has five vaccination stalls.
The city is waiting for the delivery of 1.34 crore vaccine doses which the Kejriwal government has ordered. Of these, 67 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine are being procured from the Pune-based Serum Institute of India.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had on Thursday said that all above 18 years would be administered free COVID-19 vaccines in Delhi.
