A total of 843 more people have been administered COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur and the cumulative number of people vaccinated against the viral infection has risen to 78,662, the state health department said.
As per a release issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room, as many as 30,958 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in the state till date.
Meanwhile, the state's COVID-19 caseload increased to 29,325 on Thursday as two more persons from Imphal East district tested positive for the viral infection in a span of 24 hours.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the release stated.
It further stated that two more persons recovered from COVID-19, pushing the cumulative number of recovered cases to 28,924. With it, the number of active cases stood at 28 and the recovery rate reached 98.63 per cent, it added.
The release also stated that the death toll remained at 373.

The state health department further said no severe reactions or allergies were reported following the immunisation.
