The total number of people who have been administered COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur has reached 29,15,326 (first dose: 15,76,226 second dose: 12,39,212 precaution dose: 99,888). The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.91 per cent and for the second dose is 52.50 per cent, as per the latest update.
With the increase in the number of vaccinated people, Manipur on Friday reported zero COVID-19 case confining the state's total positive case to 1,37,242 and zero death case confining the death toll to 2,120, according to the latest update by the state health department.
A total of 70 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Friday, of which all returned negative. Manipur has so far conducted 16,13,581 COVID-19 tests.
Zero new COVID-19 recovery was also recorded in the state on Friday. The number of recovered cases stood at 1,35,121 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has one COVID-19 active case, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, a total of 135 oxygen cylinders and three B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 9.
