The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rose to 123 as five more new cases were reported on Monday, official sources said.
The five new cases were reported from Dimapur and Kohima, state Health minister S Pangnyu Phom confirmed. Of them, two cases were reported from Dimapur quarantine centre while three were from Kohima quarantine centre, he said.
“5 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 220 samples tested. 2 from Dmp QC & 3 from Khm QC,” the health minister tweeted on Monday.
Of the total 123 cases, 115 cases are active, the minister said. The total recovered cases in the state stood at eight.
Nagaland has not registered any COVID-19 related death till date.
