Amid the election fever in Manipur, the state's single-day Covid-19 positive count fell further to 25 and one more patient died due to the infection on Monday, offiicial sources said.
According to the latest update by the state Health department, the state's Covid-19 confirmed caseload reached 1,36,783, while the death toll mounted to 2112, and the positivity rate moved to 2.8 per cent.
The state recieved 984 Covid-19 test results on Monday. A total of 15,74,025 test for Covid-19 have been conducted across the state so far.
Of the new cases, seven are from Imphal East, five from Imphal West, three from Noney, two each from Bishnupur, Senapati and Tengnoupal, and one each from Churachandpur, Tamenglong, Thoubal and Ukhrul. The one death was reported from Imphal East.
A total of 41 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,34,349. The recovery rate currently is 98.22 per cent.
Following it, the total number of active cases in the state fell to 322 of which, 13 are security personnel.
Meanwhile, a total of 176 D-type Oxygen Cylinders and 12 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 27,06,820 (first dose: 15,10,771, second dose: 11,36,836 precautionary dose: 59,213).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 60.99 per cent and for the second dose is 48.56 per cent, it mentioned.
