Manipur on Tuesday reported one new COVID-19 case and zero death cases, pushing the state's total positive cases to 1,37,247 and confining the death toll at 2,120. The single positive case was reported from Imphal East and the positivity rate is 1.9 per cent.
According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 53 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Tuesday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,14,172 COVID-19 tests.
Zero new COVID-19 recovery was recorded in the state on Tuesday. The number of recovered cases confined at 1,35,123 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has four COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, a total of 191 oxygen cylinders and 75 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 20.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,42,222 (first dose: 15,86,762 second dose: 12,50,847 precautionary dose: 1,04,613).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.94 per cent and for the second dose is 52.90 per cent, it mentioned.
