Active COVID-19 caseload in Manipur drops to 22

Manipur on Wednesday reported two new COVID-19 cases and four recoveries.

Manipur on Wednesday reported two new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the confirmed caseload to 1,39,855, official sources said.

According to the latest updated data on Wednesday, the two new cases were reported from Imphal.

The death toll remained unmoved at 2,149 as of Wednesday.

Four persons were discharged on Wednesday. Consequently, the number of COVID-19 active cases dropped to 22.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on October 18 was 717. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,87,717. Of it, the first dose climbed to 16,46,171, second dose 13,30,885 and precautionary dose touched 2,71,661.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
