188 new COVID-19 positive cases in India

India's daily COVID-19 positivity rate recorded was 0.10 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate stood at 0.12 per cent.

India's COVID-19 active caseload stood at 2,554, as 188 new cases were detected. The active cases stood at 0.01 per cent, according to official sources on Thursday.

As pere the updated data issued by the Union Health Ministry, the recovery rate recorded was 98.8 per cent as 201 more recoveries were logged, pushing the total number of recoveries to 4,41,46,055.

The daily positivity rate recorded was 0.10 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate stood at 0.12 per cent.

Meanwhile, 91.15 crore total tests were conducted so far, as 1,93,051 more tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

So far, 220.12 crore total vaccine doses (95.13 crore second dose and 22.42 crore precaution dose) have been administered under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. A total of 61,828 doses were administered on Wednesday.
