The Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing, a literary organisation, on Tuesday invited writers and co-authors to submit nominations for the literary awards on its 45th foundation day.
In a release, Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing invited the writers and co-authors of the state to submit the nomination for the literary awards to be given on the 45th foundation day of Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing on June 28.
The nominations invited are for ‘Dr Soibam Kumar Ningsing Sahitya Mana’, which will be awarded for book written on culture, criticism and folklore; ‘Thokchom Amuba Shastri Ningsing Khorirol Mana’, which will be awarded for book on poetry, short story, drama and novel by young writers below 45 years of age; ‘Ibotomba Sahitya Sevak Mana’ for renowned writer who work for the upliftment of literature and are above 60 years of age; and ‘Tekcham Kali Khunnai Thoupang Henthoiba Mana’, which will be conferred to social worker who work for the betterment of the society, it added.
Stating that books published from 2019 till March 2022 may apply for the nomination, it informed the interested individuals to submit the nomination to Global Book Store, Wangjing Market or the office of Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing by April 25.
