Book fair opens at Manipur University campus

The book fair is being organised by The Readers Book Store at its store as a part of its fourth anniversary celebration.

A week-long book fair under the theme “Read, Think, Critique and Revolt” opened at the primeses of Manipur University on Saturday.

The book fair is being organised by The Readers Book Store at its store as a part of its fourth anniversary celebration. Books are being offered at discounted rate at the fair.

Speaking to media persons, coordinator, The Readers Book Store, Agoo Takhelchangbam said that the book fair is an annual programme of the store held in connection with its foundation day.

"We hoped that by inculcating reading habits, people can think critically and reflect on the issues and could make a collective effort in shaping the land towards an egalitarian society,” he remarked.
