The border dispute between Mizoram and Assam flared up on October 9 after a farm hut and plantations were damaged on the disputed land near Thinghlun village in west Mizoram’s Mamit district.
Forty vehicles, including 28 heavy trucks carrying essential commodities, have entered Mizoram from Assam till Tuesday evening.
The first blast occurred in a school in the Assam-Mizoram border. Both sides of the border blamed each other for the latest blast.
“We demand that the blockade has to be lifted first,” an MZP leader said.
