Celebrating the occasion of BSF Wife Welfare Association day, subsidiary training Centre of BSF Churachandpur honoured the families of BSF martyrs and widows residing in Churachandpur town area on Saturday.
President BWWA, STC BSF Churachandpur Neelam Singh, and wife of inspector general Raja Babu Singh presented gifts to two families of BSF martyrs as well as three BSF widows’ families.

Speaking on the occasion, Singh reiterated the culture and ethos of BSF.
“Solidarity has always been our backbone and strength,” he said.

The event successfully concluded with feasts offered to guests, martyrs and widows’ families and BWWA members apart from various games conducted to entertain the guests, especially the widows and their children.
