The WUSHU association of Manipur (WAM) on Sunday notified all District level Wushu associations and units that the trial selection of state Wushu team for the 20th Junior National Wushu (Boys-Girls) Championships will be held on September 25-26 at SAI NERC Multipurpose Hall, Takyel.
Players taking part in the trial should produce Covid negative certificates (RT-PCR within 48 hours of the trial selection date), WAM stated in a release issued by founder secretary M Biramani Singh.
The age of the players will be strictly considered as per date of birth registered with Wushu Association of India, WAM stated. For the new players, their age should match with the details shown in their Aadhaar cards and once registered in the records of the federation, no further changes will be entertained, it mentioned. The district units should be responsible for the correct entry of date of birth of their respective players, it added.
