India's COVID-19 confirmed cases reach 3,29,03,289

India's total COVID-19 active cases account for 1.22 per cent of the total confirmed cases till date.

India on Friday reported 45,352 new COVID-19 positive cases, pushing its total COVID-19 active caseload to 3,99,778. The total active cases account for 1.22 per cent of the total confirmed cases. The total COVID-19 confirmed cases reached 3,29,03,289, according to the latest update by the Union Health and Family Welfare.

Currently, the weekly positivity rate is 2.66 per cent, less than three per cent for last 70 days, while the daily positivity rate is 2.72 per cent. The recovery rate currently is 97.45 per cent

While as many as 4,39,895 died of COVID-19 across the country, a total of 3,20,63,616 people have recovered from the illness so far. A total of 34,791 more recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours. As many as 366 people succumbed to the disease on Thursday.

The country has so far reported 52,65,35,068 COVID-19 tests in total, while a total of 67,09,59,968 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
